Henri Anspach (born in Belgium on 10 July 1882 – died 29 March 1979) was a Belgian épée and foil fencer.
Olympic fencing Career
Anspach, who was Jewish, was a member of the Belgian fencing team at the 1912 Stockholm Olympics, and won a gold medal in the team épée competition. His teammates included his brother, individual épée champion Paul Anspach, famous artist Jacques Ochs, and Gaston Salmon.
Anspach also competed on the men's sabre team, which came in fifth.
In addition, Anspach competed in individual events, and reached the semifinals in both the individual foil and individual épée, before being eliminated. He finished 16th in foil, and 12th in épée.
Later life
Anspach later became a painter.
